Use 1/4 Cup of gelatin

Add 1 Quart of water & mix thoroughly

Microwave for 1  minute

(we have an old microwave)

Stir Gelatin again

Add 1/2 teaspoon of paint

Pour gelatin into individual squeeze bottles

Allow the gelatin to cool to 75 degrees F

Swirl in cold water if you are in a hurry

(We use the block maker)

Place your finger over the tip, align carefully,

release finger

Start with a thin layer, once this sets up, add another. (this prevents clouding)

I am serious about this, start with a thin layer first, after it sets up add more!

Pack with snow & add cold water until soaked.  Since this photo was taken we have switched to a large syringe to add the water.
