Poke a hole straight in (slight wobble) with a roscoe bit,or Cone bit. Go in almost the full length of the bit. Widen the back of the hole slightly Slightly shallower now, make 3 small petals around center point.Add another layer of petals. Finish a layer before starting the next one. Finish each petal individually, don’t try to carve an entire layer in one motion.Each level of petals, change the angle of the die grinder.Each level of petals, change the angle of the die grinder.Repeat the process for a fourth layer. Always drag the tip back into the center point, to finish the petal. Feel free to look at the ice from the front to see if you need to fill in any petals.Look one more time to see if you need to add 1 or 2 more petals.Remember the die grinder always goes through the same center hole.
