Using Gelatin and Paint Use 1/4 Cup of gelatinAdd 1 Quart of water & mix thoroughlyMicrowave for 2 -3 minutes(we have an old microwave)Stir Gelatin againAdd base color of paint, 1 tablespoonTint with 1/2 teaspoons of secondary colorPour gelatin into individual squeeze bottlesCool Gelatin quickly to 75-80 degrees FSwirl in cold water (We use the block maker)Place your finger over the tip, align carefully,release fingerStart with a thin layer, once this sets up, add another. (this prevents clouding)I am serious about this, start with a thin layer first, after it sets up add more!Wait at least 1 hour for Gelatin to set up (Over night is best)Pack with snow & add cold water until soaked. Since this photo was taken we have switched to a large syringe to add the water.
